If you are using Windows, all you have to do is click on the Start button and choose Run from the start menu. Now, according to which Windows you are using you will need to add a command. For Windows 95, 98, and Me enter command, for Windows XP, 2000, and NT enter cmd. Now, click OK and the prompt window will appear. Now, type in the word ping, hit the space bar, now put in the host name (website name – example www.google.com) that you wish to learn the IP address and hit enter. You will find learn the IP address after the ping is completed along with the time it took for your computer to process the ping.
